DESCRIPTION:In honor of National Rural Health Day on November 20\, 2025\, the Rural Maryland Council will host a Health-Focused Bus Tour showcasing innovative approaches to improving health and wellness in rural communities. \nParticipants will visit Choptank Community Health System’s new Federalsburg Health Center\, For All Seasons in Easton\, and the University of Maryland’s new Easton Hospital building site. These site visits highlight the critical role that accessible\, community-based health care and behavioral health services play in supporting rural Marylanders. \nAttending this tour offers valuable insight into successful collaborations\, infrastructure investments\, and innovative models advancing rural health across the state. \nRegister to attend here. Please note: Spots are limited on the bus. If you already indicated on your 2025 Summit registration that you plan to attend\, you do not need to register again. \nThe bus tour will begin and end at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Annapolis\, 210 Holiday Court in Annapolis\, Maryland.
