Governor Larry Hogan declares February 11, 2021 Rural Maryland Day

Governor Larry Hogan declared this year February 11, 2021, Rural Maryland Day. On this day, rural constituents from across the state met with key legislators to discuss the strengths and challenges experienced living in rural Maryland.  Participants met virtually to meet one-on-one with legislators and their staff. Also, the Proclamation for Rural Maryland Day was presented. View a special video from the Governor here. This event was a great success and we had over 100 attendees. As part of the program for Rural Maryland Day, a Senate Resolution was presented in the senate chamber on February 12, 2021, for RMC’s 25th Anniversary. View a video of the presentation here.
