Governor Larry Hogan declares February 11, 2021 Rural Maryland Day
Governor Larry Hogan declared this year February 11, 2021 Rural Maryland Day. On this day, rural constituents from across the state met with key legislators to discuss the strengths and challenges experienced living in rural Maryland. Participants met virtually to meet one-on-one with legislators and their staff. Also, the Proclamation for Rural Maryland Day was presented. View a special video from the Governor here. On February 12, 2021 a special resolution was presented on the senate floor as part of the Rural Maryland Day program for the Rural Maryland Council’s 25 year celebration. View the video here.
