Volunteer Maryland/ RMC Outreach Sessions

Volunteer Maryland and Rural Maryland Council are hosting information sessions throughout Maryland to share about opportunities for grant programs and how to become a partner organization and leverage your volunteer program.

It is extremely encouraged that sites who are applying for our AmeriCorps program attend one of these events. This is a great opportunity to meet with us, discuss, and Q&A. Volunteer Maryland and its partners mobilize community volunteers to address critical community needs. Discover how a strategic partnership with Volunteer Maryland can strengthen your volunteer program and increase community engagement. Volunteer Maryland place AmeriCorps Members who serve as Volunteer Coordinators full time for 11 months.

The Rural Maryland Council will share information on its two grant programs, the Maryland Agricultural Education and Rural Development Assistance Fund (MAERDAF) and the Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund (RMPIF). RMC will discuss grant eligibility requirements, past recipients, and timeline for applying.
